  I totally recommend Blue on Water! All 23 (!) of my family had a terrific evening. The food was delicious, timely and hot; the atmosphere was lively and fun; and I give a particular shout out to the staff who were so accommodating to all of us as a big boisterous group while still meeting our individual needs- we’ll done!

  Decided to go to Blue on Water with a couple friends of ours for drinks. Service was good. Beer was cold. Atmosphere is good. Really nice when the windows are open to let in the fresh air.

  The charcuterie plate is delicious. However the waiter took himself way too seriously and they need a better selection of craft beers. Would have been 5 stars otherwise.

  Excellent food. Got us a reservation on very short notice. Food service was a bit slow but restaurant was very busy for a Mon evening.

  REALLY cool boutique-style hotel in a fantastic downtown location. It’s well staffed, with a great restaurant and pub right downstairs. Room was big, clean and tastefully decorated, with a nice sitting area and a huge bathroom. Bed was comfortable.
  Blue on Water should get a 5 star review, but there were a couple of issues with the room. The HVAC couldn’t quite keep up with the unseasonably hot and humid weather in St. Johns during my visit. The shower was a disappointment, as well – water pressure was insufficient and shower head was clogged. That said, I still recommend it highly, and would return in a heartbeat.
